He is going to do his impression of the Duke bros in Trading places trying to sell their orange shares before the trading deadline.
Why are you dumbass mo fos getting your hopes up of a great last day signing? Seriously...stop...go out...enjoy the sunshine...watch a match from the Gross era, then the bloke in a coat era, then thd Santini era, then the Ramos era, then the later part of the AVB era and then the Nice but dim era...and then and only then will you find peace as you realise how much better life is for us and how much worse it could get for our inbred cousins with stupid beards in the poncey part of Norf landan.
Of course the Spanners are. They need their annual 'bidding for the same players as Spurs' to show they are a club that could be in the CL in 3 yrs time dg.
Pool are just going gung-ho with attackers . Their defence is still shaky and I think it'll be their downfall this season. Shabby keepers, average CBs, Clyne when fit is good but Robertson doesn't set the world alight at LB. I think Pool had like a £60m+ rejected for Lemar the other day, so it seems Monaco ain't letting him go unless a monster offer comes in. Apparently the goons aren't interested in Mahrez (**** knows why, he's exactly what they need), so that narrows it down to potentially us, Chelsea and probably Utd. Could well be on!
We've been working on buying Llorente for about a decade. If this can happen then maybe it's only a small matter of time until we sign Damiao and Nani?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41107780 I didn't think that there was anything in this one and I'm still not convinced. Seems a bit of a strange move to me, to be honest.
A bit of subterfuge? ****ing with Abramovic? Getting Chelsea to drop any Barkley interest? Levy's bored?
I think we're genuinely interested. After last year's CL disaster we need experience as much as anything. There isn't much Llorente hasn't done in football.
It is a strange one, because he's now 32 years old, but I get it. He is experienced. Short contract to cover the Wembley transition. Experienced cover for big champions league fixtures. VDV but different. Could have used him earlier than now in my opinion. Also a fly in Chelsea's ointment. More Levy than Pochettino I reckon. (...and of course Danny DOF!)
No idea. He's a good player, but he won't start ahead of Kane, so why wouldn't he go to Chelsea and be in a similar position? He's worked with Conte before, they'll offer him more money and he'll probably have a better chance of starting. Batshuayi will be off if that goes through, I guess. Everton a possibility? Not sure that helps us at all.
We have very strong ties with Swansea and maybe they're totally ****ed off with Chelsea trying to unsettle Llorente and sign him for **** all over the last 2 windows. Mauricio Pochettino and Llorente must know each other from playing against each other for Bilbao and Espanol for years in what's close to a derby game and Mauricio Pochettino is highly respected as a genuine and honest bloke. We've walked in and shown that we want him by putting up an acceptable bid straight off. Some players really like that? Maybe Llorente has looked at how things have gone for Diego Costa and decided to go somewhere else?
