Evolution is a fact and it doesn't attempt to deal with the beginning of life.
Neither does the theory of relativity.
It's not supposed to deal with it.

The original meaning of the word atheist is largely irrelevant, but until people started to believe in gods, there was no reason to have a word for those that didn't.
A ridiculous word play doesn't equal evidence of god.

There have always been people who havent believed in 'god', but always people who had a 'faith' in something and that was their 'god' the sun, a rock whatever

That's not a criticism of the theory.
It's like saying that you don't believe in gravity because the theory of relativity doesn't address how life started.

The word atheist actually means godless, in it's original form.
