    In answer to your question though, I care most about how the players conduct themselves on and off the pitch in relation to Southampton. Obviously there is a line to be drawn so I guess I would feel a little apprehensive towards signing players with bad character.

    If we don't sign an attacking midfielder of quality then a promising window will have turned into a second summer of disappointment. 1 goal in open play so far following a ridiculous lack of goals from about Feb is enough notice.
