You'd think it would happen. Leicester would rather someone be paying a part of his wages and getting play time than sat in the reserves.
If we just get two more players in, Musa and a defender to give us most of what we need, well hope springs past autumn into May next year. In Leo we trust.
If he values his health, I doubt he does. In any case, he's a former chief scout, unless he's reporting on a Russian based player I can't understand why he would be in the area. Suppose with Ternant gone he could be our new head of scouting?
Musa has so far proved he is a sprinter playing football Might be quicker then Vardy but finishes worse then Okazaki
As others have said he's struggled for quality numbers as Ehab has ripped our squad apart, culminating in our bench for the QPR game almost exclusively being made up of U23 players. Then he's had to deal with the long term loss to serious injury of Hernandez. So at this stage I'd think we're all happy to have seven points, along with also being delighted with Slutsky, and are quietly confident that he's the man to take us forward with an entertaining brand of football.
But will the bar staff know how to pour it in a timely fashion before the game re/starts ... (nice beer Atom)
The man himself has been excellent, he's had to deal with a lot of **** vis a vie outgoings. Personally I'm not surprised by those that left, the ones that went to the PL are supposed to be there, they're good enough. The loan players were never going to return so this left a huge void in the playing staff. Looks like we've recruited well with some very good players at this level and I think we'll be alright. We're already the top scorers in the division and over time, with other players coming back from injury, I think we'll do very well. The one thing that'll kill us is if we're going well in January, is that the owners (if they're still here) could entertain bids for our players in an attempt to recoup money leaving us short again. I'm more nervous about that than I was at the start of Summer.
Didnt something like work permit issues stop this guy from joining slutsky earlier in pre season? Maybe resolved them or just visiting sluts
Yeah he looks a poor finisher.. scoring against Barcelona, 1st with his left then with his right. If he does sign for us we'll be doing you a favor. Come the end of the season when he's scored 20+ you'll be able to sell him and get your money back.
With musa, toral, irvine and kingsley added we have a very capable championsip squad, still abit concerned if we suffer more injurys, be great to see some of ours easing up as weve had shocking luck with injurys mason, odubajo, keane etc
Everyone's got very excited with the business we've done so far and I agree that we've made some excellent signings and got some surprisingly good value deals. But I don't think we're in the clear. With Mazuch out, we only have two fit centre backs at the club and our reserve full-backs aren't really good enough, we're an injury or two away from being defensively very weak indeed. Just adding a small dollop of realism.
Looks like we win every game 4-3 then!!! But seriously, I would concur with this. Dawson is good for a injury, especially over a 46 game season.
