Hope the meter didn't cost much.

There is a tale, reputed to be true, of a motorist looking for a parking space in Arles. Having been round all of the likely free places he cannot find one and refuses to pay in the half empty car park. He spies a shop that is having a new front put in, so as it is lunch time and the builders are off for their meal, he drives across the pavement and parks in the open building.

That's exactly what I wanted to see- you're a genius. Sorry it was so unpleasant out there, looks like January. I owe you a big glass of whatever you're drinking.
It certainly looks a lot tidier than when I last saw it. Surprised to find I don't mind that red colour either.
Presume the 5th pic of the first lot is under the Rous next to Shrodells? Will that be the main players entrance once the dressing rooms move over there?
Now have to imagine the 5th of the second lot with a great new main stand there instead!
    Cheers, Hornette!

I have to say i was not to sure on what the wrap around would look like, but having seen it now i am impressed. I would not want to live there though. The noise on a saturday/tues/weds would be unbearable!!

lol good story M Frenchie. The meter is mad money, but i wasn't there too long :)..

    lol Al, very cute ducks!

Aw GG, it was no trouble, honestly. i was there..it was quite fun splashing through puddles with my camera...i was wearing boots so i was fine! lol...mental rain! i'm just glad they're what you wanted :) Yep, the 5th is exactly that...at the end of the Rous. Hmm, i hadn't thought that would be the players entrance but you could be right! Yes indeedy, that would be good for the one at the end of the first 5 :)

You're right BHD! Though you wouldn't need a season ticket! ;)

    Very welcome NZ :)

vicarage, it was like a swimming pool, it was amazing! I think i managed to time it just when the rain was at it's worst! lol

I would not need a ticket, but nothing beats the day out. watching a match through the window would not be the same lol. Nothing beats the atmosphere of the stadium. And my routine includes the running through the turnstile. which is interesting as the last two games i could not do that and we lost both!!

well i dont actually run through the turnstile, i kinda barge through them and then run from the other side to the bottom of the steps and then up to my seat. In case you were wondering i am in the VR end in the top corner.

hehe, well you should see me run out of the 'tunnel' and stand there for a sec then run up to my seat. If you look at the very top of the stand in the right corner as you look. Then i will be the one running up and down at HT and 10 mins before the end lol. Thats another tradition, i have to be at the front behind the goal if loach is there in the 2nd half.
