Looking in on the niche Apologists site, a couple of excuses are already being trailed for Meire allowing us to go into the next 4 months of the season with no striker back up.

    1. Other Clubs won't sell to us because we are seen as so powerful <laugh>
    2. Our good start to the season proves the squad is fit for purpose <laugh>

Lets see where we are in January.

The apologists talk about some fans having a sense of entitlement, then in the same breath speak about the Club as if it is a sleeping giant, a colossus in the lower leagues that inspires awe and envy in equal measure from all the minnows in its vast shadow.

FFS, Millwall are a bigger Club than we are now. They can pack out their stadium with season ticket holders.

Roland Duchatelet has done that to us.
Degraded this Club to the point where thousands of seats are closed in a two thirds empty stadium every home match day.
Even special offer days attract no increase in ticket sales now.

Fit for purpose? Never again, until RD and KM are gone.

Just had a look- that forum really is the pits. I've got no idea why sensible posters like Webbo and SteveBrown post there. Reams and his disciples descend like a swarm of locusts on any reasonably-expressed contribution.

The biggest belly laugh [no pun intended] on ITTV is the way Reams constantly lectures Charlton fans on how to support Charlton.

He is clearly unemployed. Work on Saturday is scrapping his empty beer & spam cans.

Steve Brown runs rings around Reams - so much so his band of cowards club together to support their hapless leader, not realizing in turn it makes them look pathetic.

    **** ITTV. It's that simple.

Since Reams developed what he imagines to be a cosy relationship with the CEO it's got worse. He sees himself as her online bodyguard.<diva>:emoticon-0152-heart:emoticon-0165-muscl:emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer::emoticon-0167-beer:

As the Sage of Wrexham put it .."we get on well with the Club"

That must be a case of the 'Royal We', as nobody else on ITTV is allowed to have a dissenting view.

He actually believes that fans should be more like him. They are, they're called boycotters.

Reams is a Cardiff fan, plain & simple. Ex Cardiff Soul Crew. Everybody knows it. He latched on to Charlton in the same way that a flea latches on to a mangy old lurcher, around 10 years ago after Cardiff fans wouldn't have him any longer. While we should be an open fan base that always welcomes Jonny-cum-latelys from far away places like North Wales, old Reamsy really should avoid trying to lecture long term, locally bred, regularly attending fans

He wishes he was soul crew. He's the kind of guy who watches things from his window and documents it as his own life. A fantasist.

That site has lost more Charlton fans than Meir has at The Valley.

The Sage of Wrexham has posted that a failure to sign a striker today will give the Regime's critics "ammunition"

    <cheers>

It wasn't that long ago that he said it was imperative we got the strikers in, but of course that was before his new best mates officially told us it might not happen.

15th Aug - "Sorry mate but no team in L1 would get anywhere near promotion with Magennis and Novak as their striker options."
