One or two of you may remember that I suffer from Tinnitus, which occasionally can be so loud that it stops me from getting off to sleep. Usually I will play radio dramas or stories over in-ear headphones which send me off. I have hundreds of them and most of them are like old friends. But this year I came across ASMR on Youtube. These are videos made to relax you and sometimes stimulate you with tingles within your head and sometimes down your back. Sadly, the tingles never happened for me, but I am able to relax so much that I completely forget the tinnitus. Recently, I posted an ASMR Youtube video by the most popular ASMR artist on Youtube which some of you may have seen. But I'm going to post two more by a different artist I've recently discovered because she [it was always going to be a woman. Male ASMR artists barely even relax me] gave me the first brain tingles I've had, and they are so nice. The ridiculous thing is it doesn't matter whether she speaks in English, German or Russian. although it's nice to know what she's saying. You may find it a complete waste of time, but maybe you won't. Use headphones if you can and have it quiet so as to aid the relaxed feeling. Anyway, two videos here shot separately but covering the same subject matter. The scenario is that you have been out walking and you took a bad fall. Very Bizarre TSS. I woke up at 2:45 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep so eventually picked up my phone and looked at the forum. Yours was the first and last post I read - I thought, "what the heck!" I put ear phones in and started watching. I found it odd, didn't feel any brain tingle, wondered if it was going to turn a little raunchy and then was asleep. I don't know if it was because I was shattered or the video was working it's powers!
My other half walked in on me last night watching it full screen just to see what it was about (As you know I am partially deaf in my right ear and I also have terrible tinnitus in that ear), and was convinced that I was watching porn alone in the kitchen. I then showed her SS's post and she just looked at me and said "That forums's weird" ...and left the kitchen.
Is anyone else getting spammed by a million (and I am not exaggeratjng) topic update emails since the forum came back?
That happened to me with the Southern Echo and it wouldn't let me turn them off....I redirected them into spam and they eventually stopped.
yep mine all going into the spam folder - I have no alerts turned on here either. Oh well. Surely they are nearly all done....
