He will be at Liverpool /chelsea/spurs..... next year. I think he has done the right thing, will be the first name on Leicester team sheet, they will do ok this season, he will get even better. He could have gone to a bigger team but may not have played as much.
The main problem so far has been the defence. I thought Phelan had us attacking at times but the defence was a problem. And see some of the new signings play and how well they fit together and how fit they keep.
Can’t see it. I think they’re committed to the idea of signing players and then selling them at a decent profit, reinvesting some and trousering the rest. Money machine. Signings of Stewart, Kingsley, Toral and maybe even Dicko offer further proof of this. All around 3m ish, all aged under 24 and all with potential. All being well, sell the majority for at least double outlay in a couple of seasons’ time. Should mean that we usually have a good Championship team/ lowly Prem side and means cash on top of their gift interest for them too.
I agree however can't help thinking of the rumour of new owners who have given the green light for Ehab to sell but ensure there is a competitive squad in place for when they officially take over potentially in October .. it would also fit
It seems two of our previous targets are on their way to Boro... Middlesbrough hopeful of deals for Oxford's Marvin Johnson and Liverpool's Ryan Kent.
Other than appointing Steve Bruce, keeping him employed for so long, and last summer, which I think was more because of the takeover, you can't argue with the way they've run the football side of things from day one. It's such a shame about all the rest of the ****e that comes with them.
He also missed quite a few that would have kept us up. Overall he was pretty crap, bar a couple of reasonable finishes. If Musa comes, I'd hope and fully expect he'll bring more that Niasse did
Think there's too much of a risk at the moment with turbo, you'd probably get one in six or seven games where he looks interested.
