Smokie Mo’s JR’s in Liverpool has removed the racist doll after customers complained. Petra Davies, 45, and her husband Danny were disgusted after spotting the doll, and posted about it on Facebook which sparked a campaign to get the company to take it away and apologise. ‘Once we got outside I decided that I was too upset to stay out so we got in a taxi and came straight home. Evening ruined.’ Over the weekend the couple spread the word about the statue and JR’s was hit with a series of one star reviews and comments on social media. Julie Colquhoun posted on the bar’s Facebook page: ‘A friend of mine visited your bar and saw a grotesque figure. ‘This is completely unacceptable and I would not step foot in your venue and would urge other friends not too. Totally disgusting in this day and age.’ http://metro.co.uk/2017/08/29/bar-r...ounter-after-customers-complain-6887957/#mv-a Nice to see all her "friends" gang up and post negative reviews for a place they have never even been to. It is in Liverpool though so they are well versed in how to Feel the Beel.
The bar had various old advertising memorabilia dotted around the place and the Robertson's Gollyw*g was a gift that had been there for years. I'm not an expert but I think it is meant to be holding a marmalade jar, Golden Shred if I'd have to guess. Good job she never went into the Gents and saw this please log in to view this image
