Here now, our last night, sat on the patio having a last tipple or two. Very popular is Cyprus at present, you'll love it. Watched 1st half of Bolton game via a vidio from someone's phone in North Stand.
A couple of decent golf courses there mind (DR). Screw the beaches. Barbados was excellent - 30 years ago, no idea now.
Yukatan is very interesting, especially Merida. As is Cozumel (island off the peninsula). Safely away from the heavy drug scene - well it was 25 years ago.
Firstly, welcome Gilmour to our forum! You'll love it in Paphos, just got back yesterday after 5 weeks in 40+ degrees heat, now bloody freezing! You will see a lot has changed since 20 years ago, not so many donkeys on the lanes/roads now! Pedestrianised prom/harbour area brill, Tomb of Kings Road area now upgraded, finished eventually, big improvement. Lots going on re. City of Culture, old town area work still ongoing to make pedestrian area, looking good so far, should be good when finished. One thing not changed, Yamas! Good excuse to have another drink, or 2 or 3! We managed to see City games by paying the pay per game internet thingy, where there's a will, there's a way!
