I actually do feel for you on a fans level. Unbelievable what's happening at Arsenal, not sure I've ever known anything like it. Absolutely bizarre..

The ArsenalTV clip of DT after the Liverpool game sums it up brilliantly. Decent fan with an understanding of the ****storm that's going on upstairs.

Incredible really. Can't for the life of me work out what your club is doing. Bad times, really bad.

Of course the rival in me thinks it's funny as ****. It's not though, quite the opposite in reality.

Fans need to boycott the season until the message gets through then start from scratch.

This has gotten worse than 08-12 when we sold our big players every year. Something has to be done by the fans now surely...

Yeah DT nailed it. The club are incompetent from the top down at the moment. It's not like it's a new thing either, this has been going on for a few years, where we've seen our best players leave, not replacing them, dicking about in the transfer window, not getting deals done, going into new seasons woefully prepared, then taking a hammering from our rivals. It's not like this situation has suddenly befallen us, it's been festering and the board have done **** all to address it.

It just smacks of utter ineptitude from the board and the repeat of the same old ****e has created a toxic atmosphere at the club. I don't see any way out of this now other than to start again. Okay it might mean a few seasons in the wilderness, but Arsenal are a big club and we can rebuild. But under this current administration ? We are just going to stagnate even further.

As for Wenger, I've backed him in the past. But he is as much a part of the problem now. Once a great manager, it's sickening to see him reduced to this.

The signing was a disaster as he never played. Pointless waste of money.

He played a few times, and actually looked quite decent. Which made the signing even more baffling to be honest.
Would agree that the signing was a disaster based on this.

    Mustafi average.

    Xhaka average.

    Perez never played.

Shambolic 16/17 window. And we want this ****tard spending anymore money?!

Does not matter if fans turn up or not. Days when ticket sales made the clubs decent money are long gone. Tv rights advertising ECT ECT is what matters to clubs now

True, but a half empty stadium speaks volumes.

And now being reported that we are in for Johnny Evans <doh>

I'm beginning to think that Gazidis and Kronke are Spud fans <laugh>

You've rejected a £50m bid for Sanchez. It's a complicated situation as whereas that's a nice sum of money to receive for a player who is approaching the end of his peak and in the last year of his contract, would you really trust Wenger to spend it?

It's damned if you do, damned if you don't at the moment.

Not a glamorous signing but he would walk into our back three IMO.

At least he's an actual proper sized centreback.

Yeah he can't win really with this. But it's a situation that Arsenal have let happen. As much as I wanted Sanchez to stay, it's clear he wants out and he's going next season anyway, so I'd take the £50m as long as we used to to get Lemar, which will probably take a £60m+ bid now.

Really ? Johnny Evans. He's 29 and never been anything but average. Is this what we've come to ?

Come again? I couldn't quite hear you the first 3 times <laugh>

EDIT: No idea why Lemar would want to go to Arsenal. Lacazette was one thing - this is a guy who is much younger and has already achieved more, proving himself on CL level and (to a lesser extent) international level.

    Better than playing..
    1. Monreal - good little player but he's a fullback. He weighs 72kgs for ****s sake. He shouldn't be playing at the back.
    2. Mustafi. 6'0 again he's pretty tiny. Poor in the air. Is he a small centreback or a very defensive fullback?.. Germany, Valencia and Everton have all struggled to work this out in the past.
    3. Kolasinac. surely he's a Wing Back. The guy gets forward at every opportunity he has.
    4. BFG - He's slow and just about to retire. Hard to say if he's going to play at all this Season.

Evans - Is a League winning CB - In fact he was instrumental in Uniteds last title winning Season.. He's 6'4, good in the air and just hitting his prime. He's not World Class, certainly wouldn't be my first choice but he could be a decent signing.

Pretty common for a CB whose game isn't based on pace and raw athleticism. I'd say Jan Vertonghen played easily his best season for us last year - significantly better than Toby, even though the latter takes all the plaudits. He turned 30 last April.
