Daft rumour about us selling VVD to Arsenal in a cash + player (Walcott) deal. Players aren't a box of chocolates you can throw into a deal....Theo won't want to come back here.....though I think he should have left Arsenal a few years back.

Well you can [Frank Saul], and there have been several lesser players who have turned up in a player, plus cash deal. Sometimes they equip themselves OK, but mostly they don't. Walcott should never have gone to Arsenal. Nor Ox-Chamberlain. Or Chambers, for that matter.
Hi Beefy; do you think we are done this transfer window? Its a little mad in the market and l think it will probably get worse before the window closes; not the Saints way to get to get caught up in the feeding frenzy.
I think Saints are at it, whether we get anyone or not we'll see. Don't know much about Vietto. I think this is pretty much what MP was saying, apart from the Vietto bit.
