As far as we know, he's already had his medical and agreed personal terms, but there's a bit of a dispute on his fee (we must have agreed a fee for him to have him medical/discuss personal terms, so presumably something's changed during the process) and he's now in Japan, so probably won't sign until he returns.
Assuming he's in Japan for Australia's match there, he can't get back here in time can he? Given that their match is 11am on deadline day and the window closes at 11pm.
I didn't check the dates, in that case presumably it will be done by fax (though the don't actually use a fax machine).
So for the Derby game we should have Henriksen, Evandro and Campbell back. With Irvine, Success and Dickho coming in, we'll have a decent squad there with options off the bench. I'd still like another defender as back up to the three, unless we are counting Clark as CB cover.
Two more loans from Chelsea keep getting mentioned. We'd be daft not to use them - even if they don't have a clue who's available and who isn't at their end.
Yeah he can play there, maybe we are alright then. As far as transfer windows go, we haven't done too bad on the reinforcement front.
