That would be seen as discrimination and against their human rights.

Its the bags that are searched not the people.

There is no point in searching any bags if you do not search them all.

    So lets see, profile.

    February 2015 Somilia
    January 2017 Mosul

    Suicide bombers in wheelchairs.

The first one was believed to have got through security check because he was disabled and in a wheelchair.

I'd suggest that the last time anyone seriously considered bombing Hull, Vera Lynn was at number one in the hit parade.

They're not checking anyone for suicide vests, they're looking for alcohol and flares (and everyone knows that the disabled don't even wear flares, as they get caught in the wheels).

I'm a great believer in the application of common sense and these searches have **** all do with terrorism, neither does that ****ing stupid gate.

The stewards are not allowed to search bags. They can feel the outside and look in the top. I suppose they could ask you to empty the contents but that only happened to me at Wembley.

The search on Friday had nothing to do with terrorism. All the stewards wanted to know was whether I had any shoes in my bag to throw onto the pitch.

I know that this is not considered to be a serious matter, lets hope it never is. but the reality is that we just do not know. This is from the national Daily Mail. Odd choice of words.

"Both the Premier League and the English Football League have committed to circulating security advice to all clubs to use on their websites and social media streams.

Supporters will be told to arrive early to games and minimise what they carry, as bag searches can slow entry to grounds.

Fans will also be urged to remain vigilant, and to evacuate immediately if told to do so rather than waiting around to film on mobile phones.

The premier league kicked off last night with a bang as Arsenal beat Leicester in a 4-3 thriller at The Emirates."

A football club has the right to make a bag search a 'condition of entry', so though they can't legally force someone to have their bag searched, they can refuse them entry if they don't agree to it.

If I was searching people before boarding planes for example I wouldn't both too much with 80 year olds from the Home Counties. But anyone can tell you of these people being searched to show equality whilst burqa clad females walk through unchallenged. I doubt if pensioners are going to carry through weapons and flares to pass to their grandkids inside the stadium. And to date white pensioners are not known to have detonated explosives from their wheelchairs.

Did you? And in any case you could have chosen to go in an old pair of shoes, thrown them on to the pitch and walked home in your stockinged feet.

No I didn't. I just thought it was bizarre, especially as I'd seen no call to throw shoes onto the pitch. When nothing happened during the match I was a bit disappointed after they'd raised my expectations.

The stewards just usually nod me through after feeling the bottom of the bag and peering in the top. I have started collecting paper strips to show I've been checked.

If half a dozen people with feet like mine took their shoes off it would lead to a rush to the exits far worse than we see with 10 minutes to go when we are 3-0 down.

So what has prompted the gate and all the minor barriers erected in the last year or so?

    Corporation using up their budget?

The SMC are gating the entrances to the stadium, probably just to try and stop people spraying Allam Out on it.

Security? That's a laugh as I know 'someone' that regularly enters the stadium without scanning their card, twice this season so far!
