Just got back from spending the BH weekend in Ross-on-Wye ... was great ...went to a music event on the Sunday called the Olliefest ... had a tribute Ska band on called 'Too Rude' covering songs by Prince Buster, Madness, Bad Manners, The Specials and The Beat ... excellent ... had forgotten how much I used to love dancing to that stuff as a youf
@Chief I'm back sometime during wednesday, what with it being Eid on Thursday/Friday or I'd happily meet and you could have watched me have a spliff. I'm In some place called Ivybridge...this place is nice but only for a break, couldn't live here...not enough kebab shops...but the farm house and surrounding areas are great...bit bored now though....was kicking off yesterday in the hope that a tiff would leave to an early departure...but I'm still here.
That's miles from where I'm working anyway, other side of Devon. And it's a big county! Currently somewhere in the bay of biscay checking work E mails before having to go back in tomorrow ffs. Kids are in the cinema, my task is to buy a shed load of wine.
Try "you might need to go up a swimsuit size before we go away next year" ... that should ensure an early departure, if you really are that desperate ... personally I love the peace and quiet ...
A trek for you I would imagine , but we have been here 3 times .LOVE it , talk about tranquillity , esp if you like chickens wandering around and the chance to see Barn Owls & King Fishers etc http://www.grove-cottages.co.uk/Mill Cottage/
I have just watched 71 . Not going to get into the rights or wrongs of the troubles , but a good film imho . Would have said very good , except for some bits that Were a bit ott .
