I do remember a team from the midlands, called Leicester, But Lester was a jockey... And what was the percentage of your budget then? And where were you?
That **** won't bother @Hoddle Is A God. He'll be sipping on a flute of 67 Dom Perignon in the private chopper on his way back to Basingstoke.
Before you disappear for a week, mate; I will accept your apologies for your doubts when I started the Arsenal "spiral" thread. When you return from your absence, I expect you to be a regular contributor of that thread, and to like every single one of my piss-taking threads. Thanks, mate. Don't stay away too long, yeah?
Just walked through front door. Though did take a detour to a boozer near Wembley Stadium Station and then Liverpool Street. Bit ****ed... Need to be to be honest lol.
As per, you failed to check basic facts and it's led you straight into another **** up. I've been posting on this thread all afternoon through the game. Unlike you, I don't go into hiding when we lose. 3 Points awarded to PISKIE 1 FUM point awarded to HIAG.
One season too many mate. It's not even the whole "Wembley curse" ****, I just ****ing hate the stadium and location. And it don't help that Harry Kane hasn't yet realised he is allowed to score a goal in August.
this season anyone who has title aspirations cannot afford to start slow. Because Jose & Manu may be out of sight as early as October. Ridiculous fixture list for Jose & Co regardless of the filthy expensive squad members.
I was kinda hoping that this might be the season that Spurs win the EPL title and join Leicester City as one of English football's elite ... ... somebody leap up and catch that pig
So domestic footy is back this weekend after the internationals thank **** and there's a few interesting games coming up. City and Liverpool start the weekend in the early kick off in a hard game to call, Liverpool normally do well against the big sides but I can see the attack of City having some joy against the scouse defense. Should be a lot of goals. Arsenal desperately need a win at home to pointless Bournemouth who themselves urgently need to get off the mark... anything but a comfortable home win will put the Wenger out brigade into overdrive. They lost away to Stoke last time out which is where United will go to see if they can maintain their 100% start, looks a tough-ish game on paper but don't think Stoke are all that and fancy United to win quite comfortably. At the other end both Super Sunday games are already looking like match ups between teams who will be in the dogfight this year, and West Ham have their first home game of the year on MNF against Huddersfield. Lose that and I think it will be bye bye Bilic. Anyone going to a game this week? I'm off to see us against Watford which will be hard to call.
Some tasty games on today. Scousers v Mancs at lunchtime. Reckon that one could be a belter today. Then Everton v Spuds is the pick of the afternoon games. Last season you would have put the Spuds down as a banker for that one, but this season Everton look like they might have a bit more about them. And the Arsenal game will obviously be 10-0 to Arsenal now that @remembercolinlee has given the game the kiss of death on our board
