Other than maybe Ospina, you could make a very strong case anyone on Arsenal's bench to have started this game. Maybe even all six of them. Good job for Arsene that it's only Liverpool away, and he can afford to leave them out... (Holding? Welbeck? No midfield? A RB/RWB at LWB? A winger/CM at RWB? A LB/LWB at CB? Ozil away from home?)
On paper that's a strong starting line up for Arsenal. Obviously it isn't working, but it's hard to say they don't have the right players on the pitch.
Yeah this team selection is crazy. Ramsey and Ozil are not traditional central midfielders. Should've played with Elneny for Ramsay and had a front 3 of Lacazette/Ozil/Sanchez with Xhaka and Elneny sitting back.
