Ange has brought through a new generation and completely overhauled our set up. Won the Asian Cup which is not easy either. Don't get the calls to sack him.

Irvine is young and rough around the edges but shows a lot of promise when he plays. Compare to Kruse, Luongo and a few others who look hopeless.

 

I remember comments on here last year saying mooy was terrible, one paced and would have no hope in the PL. Can't remember who made them, but some of the hyperbole was a bit silly. Same again here.

 

Jesus ****ing Christ...24... mind you in Australia they probably have massive ****ing paper rounds...

 

Everton want £8m for Niasse. Anyone?

 

Could do a hell of a lot worse. That's peanuts really and much better value than, say, Zahore at £12m.

I didn't rate Niasse but he's the type of player that will do well at this level. Big, strong, fast and a complete ****ing donkey who's first touch will fool even the cleverest defender.

 

No thanks. He suffers from FTS (Football Turrets Syndrome).

 

Agreed BCC, I'd take him at that price especially as we are without Abel for months. Campbell in the middle and Grosicki and Aina could be his supply lines from the wings.

Ehab won't pay it though but I agree with you, I'd like him back especially in light of the other signings and with Slutsky at the helm.

When Dio doesn't have much time to think about it...he's deadly...A bit like Heskey.
The problem is that when he has time.. he's more likely to put it in row Z than the net. If the roles were reversed and Bowen put Dio through 1v1 with the keeper it wouldn't have ended 4-0.

That son of Andy Cole looks useful.

Moving on, with it being a bank holiday, do we reckon we'll announce Irvine and Success (sounds like a crap accountants) tomorrow? Or will it wait until Tuesday?

 

Maybe they reckon that Success will piss it in the Championship?

 

Presumably the issue with Niasse would be that they want to sell and Ehab only wants to loan players of higher value?

 

Any update on the Jackson Irvine deal..I've read a few posts on a Burton site, giving us some right slather.

if he's on £80k per week I can't see us paying that in the Premier League never mind the Championship
