Away from Spa, and going Down Under it is business as usual as NZ and OZ serve up a wonderful feast of rugby by all accounts. Will have to go to Youtube to see extended highlights of the match. http://www.bbc.com/sport/rugby-union/41060431
Leclerc just put his foot down for a laugh and went 3 seconds quicker than the guy in second place on that lap.
Just go and see the winning NZ try against Oz. Absolutely, superb changes of angles of running to open up the Oz defence. Oz themselves are very good with ball in hand and proved it with 5 tries of their own. This is how rugby should be played by the Northern Hemisphere teams who are just turgid in comparison.
England v New Zealand in Women's Rugby World Cup Final about to start. Not been following it so I don't know how the 2 teams compare.
Surely new names are going to be inscribed on the winners' rostrom in the US Open. Maybe the Spanish girl in the ladies as she has slightly more firepower than Konta. As for the men, maybe the bete noire from Australia will finally come good. It is perfect opportunity for the younger brigade. I feel certain we shall see two new champions. And you Fran?
So there's a rule that allows them to bump up the 5th, 17th and "33rd" seeds (I know the guy in 33rd isn't actually a seed), but it doesn't go as far as to bump up the 3rd seed too? Effectively Cilic has just been promoted up to 2nd seed, and we're seemingly faced with quite a weak bottom half.
Quite often this tournament does not follow the seedings, so expect the unexpected with two new finalists emerging. I will be surprised if either Fed or Rafa reach the final, as good as they are, surely someone younger will have the staying power to overcome them.
McGregor got schooled. Very brace, but that was easy for Floyd. At Spa, Charles Leclerc amongst others disqualified from the first race as the plankmunder his car was too worn down, so had to start the short second race from 19th. Finished in 5th.
Lewis - "good to see some British flags out there in amongst a sea of Irish orange". Lewis mate, that's the Dutch
In US Open, Kyle Edmund and Cameron Norrie (who?) are through, but Konta and Watson out. Sharapova bt Halep in 3 sets....that won't please Helen.
