As I didn't specify a rule I've processed them a if they weren't (eg 2 dead heating for first = both winners). I just record them both as winners at the full odds. 2 dead heats we've had.

I was going to point that out. I watched it in the betting shop and I thought that the favourite had got up but the photo finish result took ages to come through on ‘Fast Results’ on my mobile.

There was a guy in the betting shop that disputed his returns with the young staff so I had to explain to him that half his bet lost, which was why he did not get what he expected. In betting terms you get half your money at the full odds.

Not sure what you want to do with ‘points’. Both horses finished first and second, so you could add the points together and half them – 25 points for each horse. Not sure what you do with the SP – strictly speaking 9/2 DH is 7/4 and 14/1 DH is 13/2.

Your revised scores FP. I won't re-publish the Leader Boards just yet in case there are any other queries

Can't be bothered with all that QM, given I didn't specify in the Rules. The Rules say 30 points for a first so, for example, two dead heating for first both get 30 points. Given the number of times it's likely to occur it's not worth automating for the eventuality. Obviously I could for next time if that's what everyone would prefer.

Oh, unlucky Oddy. However, if I run the comp again I will use the same simple Rules. There was also a dead heat for a 3rd place.
