I wanted Wigan to win

To piss off that twat who turned up at city with the MANCHESTER UNITED / HULL FC flag a few seasons ago.

And a good friend I have from Wigan supports Wigan Warriors

And I am a petty bastard who doesn't like FC which makes no sense I know.

Yep I seen Brid town v Scarborough at queensgate

And one of the Brid teams v Gresley in a cup semi final at Gresley

Lots of scrapping after that game on the pitch and in the stands

Benjo, you sound like a reasonable chap and I'm sure you're a nice guy, but we're not all as understanding as you. Some of us like to fight back when our club is belittled by people from our own City, we don't turn the other cheek and say "well done Hull FC", quite often this is a deep seated rivalry that goes back to our formative years when City were indeed s**t and boy did we get it rubbed in our faces by some. That's not easy to forget.

I agree with Chazz that there are noticeable digs at City's expense by some posters on this thread, Julian being the main culprit, which makes it all the more infuriating for some of us.

For what it's worth I watched the match without really being bothered about the outcome either way.
