ok so what have we learned today?

1. West ham are in serious trouble... dunno whats going on there

2. Palace are bloody awful. this looks really really bad for de boer already and fat same was wise to walk away. he knew they were stuffed.

3. huddersfield are bloody good defensively.. so are southampton. they don't need VVD obviously

4. someone somewhere wants a city utd title race cos that city result is ridiculous. we need to watch ourselves when we play them.

5. LFC might even be joint top at the end of this weekend

Leicester concede goal from a corner from poor man marking. So expect yet another non analysis of how Leicester need too change their system as it clearly doesn't work.

Swansea sure, Leicester tried to defend and lump it as usual, West ham are awful the results have confirmedbut Utd have not looked in any trouble in any of them...

 

But when the fixture 'computer' makes it a favourable start

Man Utd had the same fixture computer last year and won their first 3 games.

Everyone else forgets how they quickly went 5 points ahead of us last season, because once they started having to play decent teams it was then all about "closing the gap" to us.

They never did.

 

i think we all know utd are going to be in the title mix this year..... except maybe one person.

Fairly easy start (Leicester are no mugs) but I am very happy with the results.
Last season it was the "easy" teams we had the most problems with, ending up with draws because we couldn't break them down, the better teams who come out to play we had much more success with. If we can keep last seasons results against top teams and add them to the results against lesser teams so far this season we should be ok.

 

This is what Mourinho says to his fans to keep them grounded.

But they are much stronger this season. I think those who think they are going to repeat the home draws they had with those minnows are in for a big disappointment. They will swat those who go to OT to defend in depth.

On this form I can only see the top 6 taking points off them.

 

TBF I don't think anyone gauges another team on how you are doing

 

Same for the rest of top 6 except us.

There is 2 leagues here..tbere will not be many dropped points to lower teams
