Well I wasn't expecting Palace to be so poor under their new manager at home, but I'll take the points, we need as much luck as we can get this season, Abraham will be settled now that he's on the chalk board, Clucas played as I thought he would, busy and intelligent..........
Apparently wasn't as fit as PC wanted to be so he's been beasted in training. Aparently its all planned and he should be up to speed after the international break when we'll be seeing more of him. PC is a pretty tough character by all accounts and one of the reasons there hasn't been that many 'this week in training' videos recently is because his initials may be PC but his temperament is not. His language can get a bit fruity in training I've been told but the players respond well to him because he responds well to them when they show improvement or get things right. He's a pat on the back, in your face kind of guy and the players seem to like him because they know its nothing personal just him wanting them to be the best they can be.
It was a great away win when palace were up for this game and a target for their first win of the season. Credit to the players today and credit to Clue who fitted in well..Much harder games to come but if we can improve on today and beat teams that will be around us then me may be ok...
Mesa will be the " New Britton " by Christmas and Britton will be the " New Curtis " by New Year ..IMO
Dreadful game by most accounts. However, it was a massive result. In fact, a win was imperative. After last weeks drubbing, something positive had to come out of today's fixture. Defeat would have been catastrophic. So, well done to the team, and the Manager, for conjuring up the win. It's amazing what a win can do. Lifts everyone on this forum, that's for sure.
Far too early to say that yet. Also good to see a young player like Mcburnie get some game time as he will never improve without it.
It was not a dreadful game at all...Why would you say it was dreadful?.....It was a game between even sides looking for their first win and we won the battle...
Here's been here now for what? 6-8weeks? An £11m player for us should have started every game so far. It's not as if our midfield has been on fire.
He's not even half as fit as a 34 year old Leon. A 28 year old Leon runs rings around him. Mesa has a lot to do before being labelled the new Leon.
