There is no quick fix, or revolution coming as far as I can see, we have to complete the clear out before we can even begin to recover imo.
3-0 but is anyone bothered. Next home game will be no more than 24,000. Vote with feet. **** the ****ing lot of them.
Well, Short is doing his bit to clear everybody out. Any offer coming in and the player will be sold before you can say "asset strip"
Getting to the point when ou are torn between supporting your club and wanting to do anything you can to get rid of Short. Issue is gate receipts are a small part of club income and a walk out would only get staff in the ticket offer etc redundancies, we don't wanna do that.
Next week should tell us a lot then, as so far there have been few takers, I would like to see the back of all the old guard, but who would take them off our hands ? We are stuck with some of them until their contracts run out sadly.
Some of the ticket office staff been sack anyway. Time for action pal. Hopefully the ground is empty against sheff Utd.
Do both. I certainly don't want the **** putting any more money into the club, he wants everything back he puts in so spending will only keep him here longer. I'm going to keep getting behind Grayson and he's shoestring squad. Let Short do what he has to do and **** off. Quicker the better.
I can't bring myself not to go, this is a massive week. We are stuck with Short for the time being what we don't wanna do is stop supporting the team, the last 2 games, and the fact we were largely outplayed by Carlisle, well we need to try and do our bit to drive the team on. It's a ****ing mess but it could get a whole lot worse without our support, Sky saying Grayson was jeered by our fans I'm not sure I agree with that, he's done well with what he's had to work with.
Only heard radio commentary, but it feels like we had to reach full potential and top of our game just to get the possession we had without causing much threat, whereas the mighty Barnsley just enjoyed a game of football and walked off with an easy win. Have we retained, as a team, that ''we're used to losing, so what'' attitude, or are we just that poor ? Down today, but still believe Grayson will eventually get some impetus , belief and cutting edge.
Khazri, kone and ndong will be sold and we bring in some loans. The support does **** all anyway, just have to look at our results at home. People who have a pop at Grayson are bellends. Simple as that.
Because there's nothing to support tho. How many times does this club get ass rape man. It's shocking. That ground should be empty next game I hope it is to. People may start to wake up.
There was a lot of booing from the away end when the final whistle went and chants of "you're not fit to wear the shirt" - looked like it was aimed at the players rather than directly at Grayson.
I've said for years on here the 'support' at home is a massive reason for the teams struggles there. Of the 44k average last season I'd wager 10-12k were whistling and booing after 5 mins, the kind that walk out after an hour. We need that 'support' less than we need Short, frankly. To 'support' is to be there and stand strong through good and bad, hence, despite the woe, I'll not turn my back on going, I'll not boo inside the ground, and I won't let a **** like Short drive me away from my club.
