I think we'd better get used to it Good win, Palace never got a look in eve with the mass of pasession they had in the second half. Team did well without anyone in particular shinning which sums up Clements systematic approach to our game. Only dissapointment was Alfie who played like he was looking for a place on the transfer list. Worst game I've seen him play, suppose he's due one. Thoght VDH played well and Fernandez looks good in a back three. Just need to ask my Mum to twiddle her Rosemary beads and ask Swanseas biggest fan an injuries free defence, at least until Bartley returns. Clucas looked established and Fer played well. I like Ayew so was happy to see him score and Tammy gettin off the mark with a well taken goal might settle his nerves a bit. He just needs to be a bit more patient and concentrate on his runs so his being off-side doesnt become a habit. All in all, happy with no dramas, good or bad.
Our 2nd game of a new system , our top scorer out , two thirds of our attacking three with 4 games in a Swansea shirt . Nothing but improvement on the horizon IMO ... Didn't like how we gave up possession 2nd half but I'm sure Clement will be working on that ... Well done ..
Well after three matches we've a win, a draw and a loss. On the face of it, a draw away at Southampton is a decent result, losing at home to Man Utd is no shock. It's just the manner of the performances that fail to inspire confidence I guess.
