Agreed, bring overrun and the silly booking Romeu got won't help matters but still in this and as they push up we might get something on the break.
Going to go against the grain and say we had a good half. Huddersfield are absolutely buzzing at the moment, and we have met them at the wrong time. They have dominated play, but we have stood up to it. Lemina has been immense. Second half they will tire and we need to step it up. I would get Boufal on as Redmond has been poor - as has Tadic.
Fast forward to next summer, and it'll be Gabbi wanting to leave to play with better players. And he'll be the new enemy number one if the eyes of half of our fans. Pretty much ignoring the fact that if he wasn't being asked to play with the likes of Davis, he might be more inclined to stay.
We've been well battered and done nothing but keep our guard up. Hudds are looking dangerous but its been our mistakes that have given them the best opportunity. Thank god Chicharito isn't playing again today. Still in it but things need to change. Lemon looking good but we haven't had goals in this front line for a bloody long time and its not showing time of changing any time soon. Prove me wrong Saints. Prove me wrong.
Yep, he picked up a knock coming for that cross early on. Maybe that's why he always looks petrified of claiming crosses.
Agree completely, it'd a waste of his time and talent to stay in those circumstances. Hopefully we bring someone in this window. But I've been waiting on a Davis upgrade for a good few windows now.
Not a scapegoat, he's been a bad keeper for over a year now. He's having a good performance by his standards today, that flapped cross aside. But to say he's been excellent? Don't be ridiculous. Yoshida has always been world class.
Think we have done well enough to stop Huddersfield so far. Think some people seem to think away to a newly promoted team who have won two on the bounce would be easy. Need to do more when attacking/counter attacking as it's clear to see there is space in behind, yet again we should of scored and so should they. Hoping the tempo will favour us more then them.
We need to thank Forster that we've not conceded yet, but there's no denying that the statue of Markus Leibherr looks more agile than him at the moment.
Just seen that Redmond miss. Jeez. Also, in the build-up to that Davis chance Cedric could have played a long early ball over the top for Gabbiadini (who was very much looking for it). Wouldn't mind seeing us try that every now and then instead of sticking to the short passes.
Forster was last season's scapegoat as well. So far, we are 0-0 and they've had shots on target, so can't be doing too badly....apart from one spill.
looking at the bench - maybe it can play in goal second half! I don't mean that - we haven't conceded so Fraser can stay on
