Certainly his first touch is not good, but last night did a lot more right than wrong. He held up the ball well for Turbo to cross for Bowens first goal, and his through ball for Bowens 2nd goal was excellent.
Think you must have watched a different game if you thought he had 'everything' under control .. he did a lot of good things last night but then there were many unstances were his second touch was a tackle so dont kid yourself
Apologies if this has already been said, but Aina was terrific last night. If we stick with 3421 then Aina could end up Championship player of the season, never mind City's.
Wasn't it 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1 ? (or maybe 5-4-1) I wasn't there though, but I though we started with 3 CBs?
As Lewis said it was 3-4-3, interestingly we played narrower both Bowen and Turbo which got them closer to Dio which allowed the wing backs to get forward.
It was right in front of me and it wasn't remotely close to being a red, I was disappointed it was even a yellow.
Up front. He's an aerial wizard. Plan was lump the ball up to him for him to header it in. Worked a treat.
CM is vital to have two strong scrappers in there with that formation then. I've not seen Stewart yet, is he like that? Where does toral fit into it? He's more of a n attacking player isn't he?

Wa an improved performance, but at this level he is out of his depth. Diamonde. Willing etc, but not good enough. Bowen has improved much more in his short time in the first team, compared to Diomande, who repeatedly does the same thing.
4-0 win and still we have posters skating our own. Unbelievable nah just hull like. No wonder rh and the hdm can be so negative all the time. Giving their audience what they want
It isn't about slating players it's about giving an honest assessment .. Dio did well but to make out he was beyong criticism is folly .. as others have mentioned his first touch is poor at times for a pro footballer .. if he works on that and calms down when given a chance he will improve imeasurably
