  1. This bloke is a ****ing awesome fullback. He's a Spurs reserve player.

He's a RB by default but he could play well as a LB from what i've seen.

I'm not bothered too much about getting a LB that can attack, so even though he will be on his weak foot if he overlaps, all i care about is a solid left side of the defense.

This bloke has been up and down the pitch, and shown great pace, aggression and quick wit.

He's playing for Spurs vs Hearts tonight.

    I'd take him for 7/8m <ok>

Yep, he was on loan at Villa last season wasn't he? Looked class then and class tonight, regardless of who the opposition is it's obvious he's a top full back.

    Just <doh>

Could probably get Cissokho for that who's top drawer and an actual left back. And actually worth that kind of money.

Can see him getting more opportunities for the Spuds, looked good for Villa and in the U21 Championships.

  5. I'd obviously take Cissokho but i was just putting a name out there ffs....

I'd take Kyle Walker for 7/8m because he's a good fullback, proven in the PL and i'd rather pay more than a player is worth than sign no one, and have a season with Raylor/Perch at LB.

We should stop thinking about who's worth what at times, and accept that we'll need to pay money for quality.

Tottenham won't sell him, he'll be their first choice right back this season

He's gonna get more chances at Spurs this season so we have no chance. Plus he got called up to the England squad whilst at Spurs so we have no chance. Not even for 7/8 mil.

True, miles better than Hutton (who's injury prone). Corluka is a very good player but not sure if he's a CB or RB.

Redknapp wont sell him for £7/8m. He wants £12m for Crouch, he'd want double for Walker.

I don't think he'll be a reserve player for Spurs this year, he'll probably be first choice RB.

we need a left back, your solution? a right back* <doh>

(*who tottenham wouldnt sell, especially for that price, and who wouldnt want to leave either)

Here's an idea, we could get a left footed defender to play there, maybe even one who plays best at left back...

  16. I'd take a good RB and put him in the LB position before resorting to a **** or average LB mate. <ok>

in your scenario you've just spent 8mil (it would actually be a lot more for Walker but never mind). Buy a left back.

Wouldn't mind getting a better RB than Simmo tbh. But a LB comes before that.
