Yes, he was sacked. So what? He was sacked by a fool, who had to then pay over £4,000,000.00 in compensation. Monk was also sacked, but you probably forgot that. Stop wasting people's time with your pointless haranguing of the best Manager Swansea City ever had.
Well, if my memory is good, and it's pretty good. According to Dai he was en route to Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and England. In that order.
Laudrup 9th place finish, plus League Cup, plus Europa League. Monk 8th place finish. There's only one winner of that comparison, and it isn't Monk.
You don't half talk crap Lib fair play to you. Businessman Is this the same twat who could not go somewhere because he was wanted for not paying his taxes and the same man tried to screw our club for millions and threatened to take us to court until the club said go ahead......He backed off with a whimper No big club would go near him as he don't have the skill good enough and they all know it....
I would love to see you say all that to his face and in the presence of his lawyer. Keyboard warrior Dai.
That's why, for me, it's him or Roberto as our greatest managers with ML third. Clement I think has the ability to be better than them all but he won't be here long enough because of a lack of financial support.
The three you mention all contributed greatly, but at different levels, so it's hard to pick a 1.2.3. Jury still out on Clement.
At a push, given the foundations and the way he transformed/revolutionised the club, I'd say Roberto was our most 'important' manager at Swansea, but in terms of ability, Rodgers so far is the best, as he got us to the PL, second with Liverpool etc.
