Recomendations please for Saturday nights in the above. Tried to book Sleepers no one answers so **** em!
Larkins opposite is alright. Roots for Jamaican. The Thai place on prinny is good or it was not been for awhile. Try the polish place corner of Edgecumbe st turbo might be in there Tom.
I reckon you dodged a bullet there Tom. Gusto's is a very nice Italian if you like Italian. Don't do Gin Gin or Kitchenette No1. Go to Larkins for real ale. Above all, enjoy
I didn't think much to the Mexican place down Newland but the waitress was great. Good staff make a helluva difference. Luca was good food but the exact opposite service wise when I went. Too much trouble to do anything and the cocky little **** mixing the cocktails was a reet tosser. Went through the full rigmarole tossing glasses etc.. and what do you think of that?? The mrs, pissed by now, Its **** and norra patch on the one from. Ruby lounge!!! Bait down prinny is good.
I've eaten at Sleepers a few times and it isn't bad for the price. Level is good, decent sized portions of Italian food.
Not quite answering your question (although Thai House and Bait are regularly recommended, I like Bengal Lounge for an Indian and Aunt Bibbys is fine for messy eating style pulled pork, burgers, and good American beer) However I fancy trying Cognac on Chants Ave. French restaurant that smelt amazing when I walked past it a couple of weeks ago. We said we would give it a try sometime and since then I've noticed it getting really good reviews. So if you go there pease report back! Cheers
Ye I've walked by it for the last few years and to be honest I was amazed it hadn't shut down as there was no one in it. But it got a cracking review in HDM a few weeks ago.
