Can you imagine the turnout when the Alarms leave?

Any potential owner will have knowledge of the ****storm the Allams have brought about on themselves .. their first move will be to get the fans and future fans (the kids) back on board .. 2008 when we won promotion has never seen such numbers turn out to rejoice in the club's success at the City Hall and parade that followed. The only thing stopping that returning is the poison that is the Allams.

Ehab's disdain for the rugby club and bewildering stupidity means he won't even notice them stealing fans from right under his nose.

I really don't think it's disdain for the rugby club .. I think it's more disdain for everyone outside of the family tbh .. and tbf stealing fans ?.. many city fans have followed both codes for years .. they choose not to currently go to City because of Allams.. do you think that will continue if the family leave and new owners come in that are less confrontational and have dialogue with the supporters

They'll have a hell of a job on.
Footballs a business and there's been plenty of those that have lost customers and never got them back.

Football is a business to owners .. not to fans .. don't confuse the two

Rugby is a business, just not as big a one. The same principles apply just on a smaller scale. Same applies to any professional sport.

If kids are not taken to our games but are taken to FC games instead then they'll grow up going to watch Hull FC live and watching football on the TV, inevitably they'll end up supporting one of the big clubs. Once this happens there's little chance they'll change their allegiance when they're older and start coming to City games.

That FC fan who said the KC should be no bigger than 20k, as City would never get to the Premier League and never need more than that, is tonight's guest on Sportstalk.

He said he was happy to have been proven completely wrong.

Which ever way you want to put it it will not be easy enticing all the fans back.

Adam said the big problem us the 16 to 24 year old ones.
He said they're hard to entice into game.
    X Box generation he said.
Thing is its easy to sit at home and watch games on Sky.

He actually said at the time 15,000 was big enough for the city of Hull, despite what he says now to the contrary. Liked the digs about how few were at the Southend game and how it was like the masses who claimed to be at a Sex Pistols concert with a handful there from the presenter with comments from Groak about it but no mention of the tens of thousands of lifelong fans who had never missed a game and went to Wembley who were at the Huyton game, attendance 900. Of course some of us on here were at the Southend game, though some had other priorities.

Why? He spent half the programme sneering at City's support.

Quite true. One way is to get the young ones. That gets extra in as they go with an adult. An OAP grandfather for example. Make the prices attractive to both groups of them and watch the crowds go up. Oh, hang on...

Well he would say that live on the radio wouldn't he? In private he'll be laughing his tits off at the state we're in now.

A bit off topic but it is about minority sports. Just seen a bit of the opening game of the volley ball championship in Poland, they played in a football stadium 65,000 in attendance. Not bad for a game of volley ball.
