Ehab has really surprised me here, I honestly thought he'd look at our list of centre midfielders, particularly attackers, and never sanction a perm. I thought it would be a loan at best, particularly as both Henriksen and Evandro are supposedly due back after Friday. When - if ever - everyone is fit I've no idea how we'd line up in terms of personnel or formation. For centre / attacking midfield alone we have Toral, Stewart, Meyler, Henriksen, Evandro, Mason and Larsson. That's some serious salaries.
Should be a good signing, Rangers fans weren't very complementary, but I think the whole Warburton thing messed his loan move there.
Yeah it was a guess at what someone ive never met would do. I hadn't discussed it with him. Another guess would be that for this to go through Slutsky must've laid down the law, otherwise the deal makes no sense in terms of how they're running the club. This is a transfer of someone ambitious who wants his side to do well.

I rarely if ever reply to him. I actually thought about whether posting that at all but thought it was a bit of harmless fun. I had no intention of responding to any follow up but here we are!
You only posted a couple of times about Toral signing against my expectations... And anyway it was a completely logical guess, what Ehab has sanctioned here makes no sense from the way he has shown he is running the club.
As far as making sure we're covered, I'm pretty sure Mason's been taken out of the equation completely and isn't being considered, Evandro's managed to be available for 14 games in eight months and it looks like both Larsson and Toral will also be considered as cover for the wide roles.
As I said, from a footballing decision and wanting to do well on the pitch it makes sense. But when has Ehab ever thought like that?
