Tom28 is not right any more than any of us would be. He comes over as rather gullible and virtually panting to hear the latest 'news' from someone at Saints that he knows who is probably low level and enjoys showing off to someone who is lapping it up.

 

Not so sure.............I Cannot divulge what I have been told.........If true though (and there is doubt) VVD will have well and truly burnt his bridges with Saints. Although no idea how Saints will deal with it though...............

 

You'd hope not. But it happens all the time after owners/mangers have stated their intent. Such a fake business in so many ways. Just planned statements etc. mostly aimed at getting better prices.

 

It is such a shame this VD saga has happened.

I went through 3-4 years of wishing bad on Liverpool as a club after the fleecing of our players and the Rodgers comment of 'Our ambition has changed'

Then last January, Shane Long buries those thoughts and the slate was clean. I know to a 'big' club getting to the EFL Cup final is no big deal, but that goal was so much more - the timing, the location the performance etc. Unfortunately this saga has set my views back again. Let's hope we play you in the Semi of the FA cup this year

No, not really an ITK...........Every now and then I hear something from a friend of mine at Saints. Mostly I cannot post what I hear unless he is happy for me to do so, which to be fair is rare.

 

It's very easy to do when we all talk sensibly about football. It's the WUMMING that becomes tedious and annoys people because it's such a spectacularly pointless exercise.

 

I think this is the common theory based on how long and rambling his info has become

I'm not a wum though, not sure where this scandalous rumour comes from?

 

One thing I've noticed about true ITKs is that their posts tend to be infrequent and very short. They say what they know and nothing more.

Well with infrequent you've counted out Fran as ITK and with short posts, we all know who is not ITK

He is so good it's scary.

It's strange because when we signed him the main view from a lot of Saints fans was he was inconsistent. He has been so consistent for Liverpool, performs every game without doubt.

Hoffenheim just couldn't handle him at all. Firmino was my motm last night though, incredible performance against his old club.


Did any of you watch the game? I take it you were watching Saints, but if you didn't see us last night our attacking play was insane. We're without Lallana and Coutinho too.

Yeah I watched it and thought you were very impressive, though with the proviso you were 'allowed' to play. Press was great and Mané was at his marauding best (what was the booing of him about?)

I honestly have no idea why Barca are pursuing the very good but not great Coutinho. If I were them, I'd be going all out for Mané as a Neymar replacement. He's much more in that mould.

Not completely convinced by Salah as yet and your defense still seem like a bunch of strangers. The young lad on the right is going to make it hard for Clyne to get his place back. Matip is good. The other two....not so much.
