Noticed on Sky transfer centre, Toral has changed from 'Arsenal' to 'unattached'. Presumably we are waiting for that to be formal before we sign him for nothing? The change has taken place after 9 pm yesterday and by 6 am this morning. Saves on a transfer fee?
It does seem slightly odd that he did his medical 2 days ago yet no news of him signing .. there is obviously some issue there .. be it on the medical or personal terms
Someone posted a few pages ago Toral's got some genetic problem with his knees that's caused problems in the past. It was also suggested on twitter that he's failed his medical.
If this turns out to be another Austin scenario, they can **** off. We can't not sign players on the chance that they might get injured. Any player can get injured, look at our treatment room for crying out loud.
Why does Clucas mum follow him everywhere? Does he still sleep with a night light on...., bet Kingsley doesn't , good swap if you ask me
So you think signing another player to sit in the treatment room with Stewart is a good thing? When people are complaining enough that we shouldn't have signed Stewart given his ankle injury in the past? Diomande when we signed him being out until November?
I'm not sure if the post was serious but I saw a newspaper article from January saying 'Rangers target has knee problem' or something like that.
The post a couple of pages back about him failing his medical was just LBIA mucking about. He has got some genetic knee problem that he's had surgery on several times, but if it's caused him to fail his medical, we don't know about it yet.
People do seem to complain about the result of a medical whatever it is. Anyone that gets injured after signing for us is "another crock". And Austin did actually miss a big chunk of the season following us turning him down through injury. Southampton signed him very cheap which probably owed something to his potential injury problem. Fact is, the guys who do these medicals are highly trained professionals who know what they're doing.
