It's fair to say that Forest were lucky to stay up last season; their blushes only spared when Huddersfield fielded a reserve side having already secured a play off position. Since then, they look a different side and even uprooted the mighty Toon last night at St James Park 3-2 courtesy of a winner in extra time. How much will that game take out of them? With Pennington and Berardi still sidelined, Cooper and Borthwick-Jackson should keep their places. There are no other serious injury doubts. It is believed that Jay Roy-Grot will become a Leeds Utd player today, and may go straight into the starting line up. Doukara has departed to Turkey, and Bridcutt looks set to start against us, with a point to prove.
Morning Elland and all. Despite rumours I’ve never been to a Leeds game, I’ve been checking Villa and Millwall flights. Definitely booking the wally one tonight as I can see sky being bothered showing them. Wonder how many of forests Saturday team actually played last night. No matter, in current form, we can beat anyone. Dutch striker looks another great signing. The benefit of an international scouting network eh and what we’ve been missing for years. Incidentally the Wallies have two Irish builders currently doing their scouting. We’ve a few unemployed tradesmen here still
Morning all. Saturday should be interesting. Hope Grotty deal is done & we see for 20 mins or so Saturday what he can do. Bridcutt playing against us should be interesting. One wonders if TC will play Klich just to keep Bridcutt in his place. We should get home by the odd goal, but it will be another challenge.
Morning Eire, I didn't know Bermondsey had its own airport, until...... please log in to view this image
Morning Boggers, apart from the bottom three (they know who they are ) I don't think there will be many easy games in the Championship
Morning all, not sure Roy-Grot should go straight in, I think Roofe has made a good case for inclusion...
Do me a fovor Rizzy how many championship games has he played for you guys and how many goals I wager he has played about 30-40 and scored less than 5 goals How many times has he played lower league teams for you in cup games and how many goals I bet goals are higher than appearances
He sounds to be a lad with plenty of promise, at his age you would imagine with TC's coaching he is likely to improve. good luck Jay.
you paid 1.5 m for him that's half as much as you paid for Roofe lets hope he is at least half as good
