I tell you what, that Gazzaniga is a good looking bloke, ain't he? He's even got hair to rival Toby as well. Thought I'd get that out before Aurier joins
Part of my self-inflicted painful routine during the Transfer Window involves looking at Sky's Transfer Centre. In that they feature a table that lists and rates the Top 10 transfer rumours during the day. It gets updated a few times each day., You've almost certainly seen it during your own sado-masochistic Transfer Window habits. A few weeks ago Juan Foyth was a daily regular. In the morning his likelihood of a move to PSG was rated as 4.9 out of 5.0 at number 1 or 2 in the charts. By bedtime he was going down faster than David Luiz but he was always there, although after dark the likelihood of the move had wanted with the evening sun. In a changing and confusing transfer world, his continued and significantly protracted move to Paris was a rock around which I centred my frustrations. Then, suddenly, almost as unexpected as a Sissoko hat-trick, young Juan was gone, never to be mentioned again. The fact that all of the Argentinian newspapers finally agree that he's on his way to London to sign for Spurs for the not inconsequential sum of £12m in the next 2 days, is irrelevant. Sky are too busy reporting that Stephen Kingsley is moving from Swansea to Hull (number 7 @ 4.3 out of 5.0) Why, Sky, why?
Love this (from "Robert" in Internet land) : "Late string of deals in the offing, as predicted by all sensible Spurs fans who have been rolling their eyes at the hysterical idiots for weeks now. They won't learn, expect the same wailing and gnashing of teeth when we haven't signed anyone for way over the odds in the first month next summer. And no, before some other moron says it, it isn't because Rose spat his dummy out."
The vast majority of rags have it as £28m plus £14m in add ons, which sounds about right as to be honest any more than that up front for a 21 year old from an inferior league and Levy probably would've blown a major artery.
I saw a figure of £38.4mill for Sanchez, which seems way to precise to be way off the mark. Gazza is believed to be between 2 and 3 mill
He's back! At No.10, Juan Foyth. Despite being on the plane to London, he's got a 3.8 likelihood of a move to PSG. WTF?
I read that Poch wants 4 signings but with Barkley it makes 5 doesn't it? Sanchez, Gazzawhatsit, Foyth, Barklay and Aurier.
He may not be including Foyth, as he's supposedly one for the future. Not sure if he's counting a 3rd choice keeper, either. The alternative is that we're not getting one of them, which also seems reasonable.
He's a talksport presenter. We'd love this to be true, but sadly is probably bullshit like the rest of the stuff they come out with!
