Nah I see where your coming from and fair play for saying it, but if we finished say 13th and you finished 12th would you still be happy with that?

Well it is about our manager, but anyway

it all depends how we got there really, if we had 50+ points (so better points than last year) but still finished 12th, then yes i would be, if we had 41 points and was scraping relegation the last few weeks of the season, and jumped to 12th then no not really.

the last 3 seasons we have improved our points tally, and our position, but it is possible to improve the points tally, but finish lower (and vice versa as well).

 

I can understand you lot hating him mind.



Supposedly a 'fan' yet knocks you back twice when approached, then takes the SAFC job.

 

Yeah I know what your getting at but he just seems a bit too interested in us. Why keep looking at us when you should be aiming a lot higher than finishing above us...say top 8?

 

Fair enough can see ya point about 10th, but still didn't need to mention finishing above Newcastle so much IMO. Think you guys will finish higher than 10th this time.

You would at least expect him to say something like "Of course our main priority is progression on last season and a top 10 finish, but finishing above Newcastle and doing well in the derbies would be a great added bonus"

Not just "Finishing above Newcastle is the most important thing to me"

If Pardew said something like that I'd want to kick the **** out of him, surprised more mackems arent pissed off.

Unlikely keepers play into their 40's look at the likes of Freidal, Seaman and Shilton. Also hasn't Given just signed a 5 year contract at Villa.

 

who, where? and after 1 game, i doubt it, most think 7th-8th is doable, but its not going to be gifted on a plate to us, 10th or above and more points than last year and most of us will be happy. Maybe a cup run, which does not mean final and winning, it all depends on the luck of the draw in the cups, get Man U early and it wont be easy, get Notts County or Stevenage, and we have to take that with both hands and hammer them, not die of death like we both done last season.
