Enjoy the dream, Wooly, but I think that is all it will be... Gosden has just told ITV Racing that Cracksman will not be supplemented for the St Leger and if he runs again this year it will be one of his existing two engagements; and that is to be discussed with the owner. I think that probably means wait until next year...
Cracksman over 10/12 next season will be a beast. Will be following him blind, still plenty of improvement to come
Have to say trainer Hannon didn't sound too confident before the Juddmonte for Barney Roy? Winner looks a real good'un, improving all the time. Churchill ran well, better than I thought he would.
Get in mate... Thought I was squeezed out for 4th...just checked paddy power account paid 5 places Thank you
Well done mate alright for some i only got 4! Sums the day up really, didn't check any other cards today bar York or my emails this morning, and i missed Mister Musicmaker at Bath and it won at 25/1, only know because i set up an email notification to get an alert on the day it runs and just checked the result, sickening!
Oh yeh and they say bad luck goes in 3's and the other was i bought some aftershave on friday at full price ( about £47-48 ), it's now superdrugs special half price deal this week!!
From the King George & QE thread Today's performance, although over 10f, has only made me more confident for next year
Another historic win for a historic animal. Class horse Ulysses, dont think even Shergar can dispute it now.
Once in a blue moon I tip these days stick, not interested anymore, put my thoughts up on some big races and thats it. And I didnt fancy him strongly anyway, backed him though so thats all I care about just now.
I was actually interested to see what you put up in this race. I told my mates yesterday that would get 3/1 Barney and 4/1 Ulysses and that they should back them both. Sadly I didnt heed my own advice and had Barney in a double with Cracksman. I needed help but it wasnt forthcoming.....
I thought Barney Roy was probably the one until the rain, knew Ulysses would be bang there on form but it wasnt a race that you could be really confident about any of them winning.
Some boy, gives Barney Roy his selection on the race thread but lo and behold comes on here to say he's backed the winner Standard form to be fair, least it's not as many as he had in the Oaks Cheers for the like by the way, must grate you that Churchill has proved himself superior to your selection (the first selection that is, not the winning aftertime we've just heard about now )
