Good Morning Everyone Leeds Utd put on a 5 star second half performance last night as they tore apart Newport County last night at Elland Road. A hattrick from Roofe was complimented with goals from Saiz and a last minute goal from Viera. Roofe, again this season has not really set the world alight! If it came down to it, if it came down to Roofe or Alioski or Roofe and Saiz who would you drop each time? I know Alioski and Saiz are our better players, but they also cover the same position that Roofe does! Perhaps the hattrick will give him a lift Thoughts? Doukara is off!!! He has sent a message saying he will miss the fans, miss fish n chips and wishes us all the best for promotion. He may not have been our best player, but he never whinged, and always put in 100 percent. I'm sure we wish him well. Due to his fish n chip comment, I doubt he's off to Barnsley! Jay-Roy Grot arrives in Leeds today to discuss a move to LS11. The 19 year old is a hot prospect.

Hope the Gestede thing doesn’t turn into a huge waste of money. While Rads people have done great for the most in other transfer window, they did blow a sizeable wad on Sacko in my opinion.
Sacko was a very strange one, maybe we didn't believe we would get Alioski? Dallas has also shown Thomas what he is capable of recently, I'm loving it that we don't "seem" to have any sulkers, players are realising it is on the pitch where you make a case, not go running to an owner...
I'm happy enough for Gestede to come in. We need at least one striker who has proven he can handle the championship. He was always the better one out of him and Rhodes when they were at Blackburn together imo. He's a similar player to Wood as well and I don't think we wanna lose that option
My Villa supporting son in law reckons he was suitable to a 442 setup and more a setter up of goals than an out and out goalscorer. Didnt drool about him but reckoned an ok signing. Of course, I suppose he could thrive on the amount of chances we are now creating hopefully

Morning all, very good result after a poor first half. I don't think Roofe is the answer to our striker problems despite his hatrick last night. He needs to do it against better opposition and will probably get his chance against Forest. I doubt TC will throw Grot straight in at the weekend if he signs. Not sure about Gestede especially if he's gonna cost in excess of 6mill, his career has stalled a little. Orta seems to like him for some reason so maybe he could turn his form around if he joined us. We seem to be building a decent scouting network now so surely we have someone looking at talent in the lower leagues of the UK. There must be some talent waiting to be snapped up. On a separate note, Andrea is turning out to be the perfect custodian of our great club. You just feel now that our return to the top flight is inevitable.
Morning all ... pleased that the lads who played last night got such a good result ... TC has got everyone on board and working hard, competition for places is everything ... Grot coming will be excellent, this lad can play and fits in perfectly with the way Leeds play now ... Gestede is not a good fit, he is not good enough and I really hope he remains stuck at Boro on his big wages, they need to pay for their error in signing him in the first place ... Gestede won't improve the team, and definitely isn't anywhere near Wood as a striker ... we will pay over £6m for him, plus his wages, and I promise he will become a bench warmer Grot's name translated to English is Cave ... looking at the size of the lad, he will smash plenty of defenders like a beast of a caveman for sure
The second we sign Gestede you will be telling us that Orta and TC know what they are doing and Rudy is the final piece in the jigsaw.
With the way refs are handing out yellows and reds this season, Im not sure size is any advantage anymore. Seems football soon wont be a contact sport at all and all players will be built like Saiz and Hernandez
Doesn't look like its going through,but if it did and he reproduced his Blackburn form he would do fine.
