I caught the 10 minute signing alert on twitter so made a cup of tea while i waited :) IF he can stay injury free he could be a top signing for us.

Agree, think he is classy in front of goal. Only question is his fitness

Great news (not so great if it means Kashket is a financial liability). Well done Gareth. And I have no money left to back Wycombe this week <laugh>

Can't believe you have an avatar of The (cough) Lane Rocky. Have you given up on Wycombe?

"well done to Wycombe" seems a bit distant

Out of interest, when Spurs got that 4th goal with no time left, were you cheering (be honest)?

The signing does give us another option as good as the Beast was last season we did rely on him totally for the season

Always been a spurs fan watched my first game when I was 7 that was 50 years ago and the lane has many good memories for me .as for the wycombe spurs game I wanted a draw in the game at spurs cos a replay would have helped wycombe out financially. Been to hundreds of spurs games over the years and many blues games home and away so I like both teams.no one can knock me about wycombe I have been away all over the country watching them in all sorts of weather including Tuesday nights away to all the northern teams .unfortunately illness stops me now as I have trouble with my walking etc but always support wycombe and spurs no one will ever change that.on another note I am officially a ****** now confirmed on my birthday today when my blue badge came through the letterbox .at least that will make my life a little easier now<laugh>

I was pulling your leg Rocky. I know how dedicated you are. Getting a bit lonely here as the wife, daughter and grandson are on holiday in Spain. Not very far from Barcelona but hopefully far enough.

Happy Birthday Rocky. Best wishes to you and family

So following the latest signing, which is a real coup if you ask me, I make it we have replaced pretty well. Tyson for Thompson - I will take that, Williams for Wood- as both players weren't/aren't first 11 it frees up some wages, El Abd for Pierre- obviously a disappointment but hopefully a good enough replacement at this level. We add into that CMS and I think GA has done a good job this summer. Have I missed anyone?

They are OK, if a bit nervous, THANKS.

There was another attack today and apparently more planned. They are having fun (just got back from WaterWorld) so that's good. Hopefully their flight back from Barcelona won't be a problem

Max Muller goes on loan to Morecambe until January,f*cking joke considering how crap our defence has started this season <steam> Ainsworth seems to be losing the plot but will blame everyone else but himself as usual. <grr>

Maybe Stewart is back and he wants to keep MM fully match fit. Do we have a recall on him? Presumably he can't play against us?

Yes thanks. It was all a bit scary. The place they were staying was high on the list of likely targets and was in total lockdown, as was the airport which was freaky. Some holiday makers cut their holiday short. All back safe and sound last night

With Ant back from injury Sid playing well at centre back and AEA we need build a stable partnership and with WDH returning from a successful loan spell next week plus Danny Rowe I make that five players who can play central defence its not a position we don't have cover so sending BFG out on loan is a good move, the players we missed most on Saturday were SSS, PCH and Tyson we lacked creativity although Freeman played well on the wing when introduced in the second half just shows without those three to feed the Beast and CMS we relied on hoof ball so we can't afford to be without Super Sam Saunders in particular so we need to bring in cover if we can
