That's generally true but it occasionally pays to check their special offers. Last time I bought coffee in Waitrose their Lavazza Instant was £3 cheaper than anywhere else. Even online.

A cynical US journalist once said "never let the truth get in the way of a good story", but nowadays the truth doesn't even get a fair hearing. And most of the stories aren't worth bothering with either.

I've read it and, beyond the fact these lists have previously been about out of favour players, I don't see anything to be annoyed about. Van Dijk's made it very clear he wants to leave and from his perspective he does have 10 days to secure a move so for me it's perfectly reasonable for him to be on such a list.

Their write-up is basically fine as well, nothing much in there that hasn't been written on here to be honest. A certain amount of "this saga isn't over yet" stirring at the end but not too bad and they even say "But Southampton seem insistent on not dealing with the Reds, which is a perfectly reasonable stance."

 

He wants to leave. But the club in which he is contracted to for the next 5.5+ years has said they are not selling.
