    I bet that there will be a larger than usual measure of conspiracy nonsense spoken and written today, in the USA, due to this eclipse. Just you wait. Should be a laugh.

    I've just started reading a novel entitled "To Kill the President", by Sam Bourne.
    The first chapter deals with stopping the President (who is not a politician), from launching a nuclear attack on North Korea, because he had felt insulted by a comment aimed at him.
    This same President has history of molesting female staff.
    The comparison with a real live American President is uncanny, given that the book was only published in July.
    So, did the author write it very quickly, based on Donald's campaign trail and first months in the job, or was it planned before and is entirely coincidental in the similarities to real life?
    I hasten to add that, to the best of my knowledge, Trump has not had to be talked down from launching a nuclear attack on North Korea, in the early hours of the morning, but given his current stance and rhetoric, who knows how close to the truth this book of fiction really is?

    If there is a photo on your phone, open the post, click "upload file" click "photo roll/album (whatever option your phone gives) and then select photo. Wait a second or two and then a small icon appears of the photo and you can click Full Image

    Then click "Post Reply"
