A beautiful summers day in my favourite city on earth ends in tears for many families who are out enjoying themselves. I hope the cowardly low lives that plan and carry out these atrocities are proud of themselves.

The focus from the Media will be mainly on the perpetrator which is wrong IMO.

Moroccan 20-year old, apparently. He's been reported as saying he had nothing to do with it and his documents were stolen.
This isn't going away until the reasons people do this go away - the spreading of hate and lies.
Hate is hate. Doesn't matter whether you wear a white hood or a burqa, whether you hate people because of their skin colour, their nationality, their religion or their way of life. Hate is hate and needs to be eradicated.And (unlike certain messages coming from the White House) without any confusing double-talk. White supremacists are terrorists. Isis and it's followers are terrorists. And there's no such thing as an 'anti-nazi', just as there's no such thing as 'anti-Isis' - it's called being a normal, decent, caring human being.
We won't be able to eradicate this hate in our generation, or even the next. Because one of the key things here is education, and we're too ignorant and set in our ways to sort this out, or pass the right message to our kids. So we're looking to our grandchildren who will - with good fortune and hard work on our part - will know that there's absolutely no difference between us, except what we call out ourselves.

Presumably, once the outrage dies down, nothing will change and we'll all be outraged over again soon enough!
A single police officer shot dead 4 of the 5 attackers at Cambrils. Respect. Presumably he was just a bloke on the beat rather than some kind of paramilitary robocop, just like the ordinary coppers who did the Berlin attacker in Milan.
Obviously trained specialists are ideal for situations like this, but for speed of response I think there is a strong argument for arming at least some ordinary policemen (with the requisite training of course) in this country.

Fresh attack today by another mad muslim, this in Marseilles, driving into people waiting in a bus shelter and killing at least one.
Meantime, we have ISIS fighters coming back to the UK, and the government is looking into making it more difficult for all of us to hire a van. It may occur to them at some stage that if these religiously motivated devils are prepared to drive into children, they'll also run to nicking a vehicle or two.

It's pertinent that more European Jewish leaders are urging Jews to leave for Israel, on the basis that Europe is now lost to Islamic violence. And there's evidence that Jews are leaving the UK for Israel for security reasons which is sad and a loss to the UK. Meanwhile Corbyn leads a party riddled with anti-semitism and is prepared to turn a blind eye to *****phile Pakistani gangs, advised by the likes of the anti semitic MP, Naz Shah herself from a Pakistani family.
Why the **** are you having a go at Corbyn (by all means, he's a ****er) when he doesn't, thankfully, run the government? What do you want May, Rudd etc to do? Most of the governments in Europe are right/centre right, surely they can deal with radical Islam better than namby pamby uber PC bed wetting left wingers? Only Italy has a vaguely left wing government of the major countries. Oh and it has the lowest number of terrorist attacks (I don't think this has much to do with the government to be honest, it has a lot to do with their lack of 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants waiting to be radicalised, their use of the law and willingness to deport people). The Italo- Moroccan London Bridge attacker was met at the airport whenever he went to Bologna and visited twice a day by police. He wasn't a threat according to British security services.
