TWS fans,hang on to Man u,as their biggest rivals only to big themselves up. A clear sign of respect. So they don't hate them,they love them.

 

it's more like we don't just drop the hatred just because we're not in the same league as them anymore. Despite being the underdog, we've always been similar in stature, that has only really changed in the last 12 ish years. They went one way we went the other. So really, that's why.

 

How's that any different from you thinking your ****ty little tinpot club is anywhere close to being similar in stature to ours? Which is what you lot continually claim. Infact I've seen a few thinking you're bigger.

I've never thought we've been anything other than underdogs in this rivalry, but it's still a rivalry. Everyone saw it as massive when we played them at their place. Noone really gave a **** when you came to ours.

 

A one way rivalry,it just doesn't work kid. Your'e like a fly on a gorillas ear,the beast doesn't even know your there !

 

That's the thing, it is a proper rivalry, unlike ours. Funny how all the Hull fans are just describing their relationship with us. They see us as their rivals along with Liverpool and Man City. The worst I've seen is a couple saying Arsenal have taken over since our relegation, but many disagreed. I see leeds as rivals as much as I do all the teams chasing promotion. Anything after that is dislike of a club with some fans who are living in the past.

Up until the The Premiership Leeds United and Manchester United were on a par, as previously stated they went the right way and we went the wrong way, unfortunately. Check the titles won and European successes before the PL.

If you have supported Leeds United for nearly 40 years as I have Man U will always be rivals. The trophy haul you talk of has only really been amassed from 1992 onwards.

I presume some of you are closet scum fans now your toothless Tigers are back where they belong in the 2nd Tier of football.

FYI Footbal existed a long time before the PL and in my opinion was a lot more entertaining.
