You're right, I don't know for sure that Leicester didn't pay 17m up front for Maguire, but I'd be reasonably positive.
He's already cracked and admitted why he never admits he was wrong - he's scared of being laughed at.
If I ever was wrong I'd admit it, however the only time I ever have been wrong was when I thought I was wrong about something but it turned out I was right.
The Allams have really ****ed this all up by trying to be too clever, and in reality it is now the supporters who will be left with the result, which is looking increasingly dire. Firstly, from what I understand a deal was in place to sell to Grieves, and then the Allams tried to be clever, because they had a Chinese group in the back ground, and move the goal posts by saying SMC wasn't included in the deal. So Grieves told them to stuff it. The Allams thought the club was sold to this Chinese group, but they didn't pass the FA fit and proper owners test, which is an irony in it's self. The Allams then couldn't find another buyer to willing to pay what they wanted. Ehab tried to be clever again and keep us in the EPL on the cheap, but failed. Now the result is they are asset stripping the club to pay themselves back, because of his mismanagement of the club. It seems ironic, but Ehab has a lot to thank Steve Bruce for, because many of the players that they are now making a big profit on, and effectively getting them out of a financial ****, was the players he brought in. In the beginning one thing I said about the old man was that he allowed Steve Bruce to get on and manage the footballing side, and backed him with his buys, but the boy wonder came in, decided to change the way things were done and has made a compete hash of it.
Thing is it's not too late, we could sign 5-6 players before the window closes, but it would take Ehab admitting he's made a mistake, and BCC admitting he was wrong is more likely than that.
Like you did after wrongly saying that trained snipers shot the terrorists in Cambrils hours later and not an ordinary officer just after they got out of the car? Oh, the irony!
That wasn't the point I made. When there's a terrorist attack in Britain, is the place immediately swarming with armed police, or not?
I said the terrorists wouldn't have been shot so quickly as the police aren't routineky armed.Your response, in your usual point scoring way was to say they were shot hours later by trained snipers, inferring I was wrong. Not big enough to admit you had got it wrong, still. You may have locked the thread but unless you delete it you can't stop people seeing what you wrote.
