Apologies if this is buried in another thread but just read on HDM that Myeler is not happy with some of his team mates, thinks they are not giving 100%. He may not be the most skilful player but can never fault his effort.
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-meyler-accuses-hull-city-352699 I would assume he's talking about Dio, and probably Kamil too. Aina was really having a go at Dio at full time yesterday. He's just not a footballer. Grosicki feels he's made it, a right primadonna. But really disappointing to see there's rifts, even in our depleted squad.
Good man. Arm the boy David with a metaphorical slingshot. Give him carte blanche to tweak a few ears and twist a few nipples; sort the slackers out. Cut 'em down to size.
This is the total opposite of what happened in similar circumstances under Phelan. Phelan had the love, Slutsky needs the authority and I don't believe he has it.
Grosicki doesn't deserve to have his goal tally increased by penalties .He needs to perform better in open play to have the honour of taking penalties.
I mentioned a while back that Meyler should be captain. He's one of a few who actually gives a **** about both the club and the fans.
We appear to be in a worse state than we thought. This is only going to head in one direction.. I'll be surprised if we're not in a bottom 6 relegation battle....
Said it about 3 months ago. I wouldn't be surprised if it was directed at Hector, the effort - or lack of - for the winning goal was weak as piss.
As said earlier - quite obvious Do and Turbo - Dii didn't break sweat on Saturday and never chased anyone down - hopeless - Turbo just doesn't want to be here and looked disappointed that Ehab hadn't told him to sit the game out so he sat it out on the pitch -clearly tackling isn't part of his game as he simply pulls out - well said by Meyler although not sure he should have gone public as comments like that should be said in house - perhaps things are a lot worse than we know - what a mess
Please don't put me in your 'we'! It's been clear to me and at least some others for weeks. Unless something remarkable happens in this last 10 and a bit days of the window. I expect one or two more will manage to escape shortly, and I fully expect a couple more key injuries before too long.
Noticed when Grosicki scored the header against Burton almost all the players celebrated with Aina - who put the cross in, and ignored Grosicki.
Surely now approaching or even at 'tipping point'. Which way will it go ....... If fellas don’t want to pull together, then that’s not good enough. I’m up there. I give everything for my team. The others have to match up. There are a few, but there are a few that are slacking.” http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/david-meyler-accuses-hull-city-352699 “But in this moment we are minus 13 players from last season. Thirteen plus four injuries. That is 17. “It’s a new team and each new player who didn’t have a pre-season has to start like new and adapt to formations and players. It’s difficult to decide all targets together, I think impossible, but we try.” http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/spor...ws/sam-clucas-impossible-replace-stage-352823
