Well yes, but with Virgil valued at 60-70m... what's he expecting to pay for Cedric and Bertrand? And the ox? You get the picture.
Clubs are fishing around for who is available....there is no way that Chelsea or anyone expects us to part with first team players at this stage....bearing in mind how we are playing hardball with Virgil. That is the one way to seriously piss off our new manager when he is in the middle of trying to sort out his team.
Didn't realise Bertrand was 28. Think he'll be gone next summer if clubs are still interested as we could get good value for a 29 year old.
Eh? Arsenal's form improved massively after they switched to 3 at the back towards the end of last season. So did Chelsea's when they switched early in the season, & we saw how that worked out.
For what it's worth, Stamford Bridge is not in Chelsea - it's in the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham
Being reported that Saints have told Jordy Clasie that he isn't in Mauricio Pellegrino's plans and is available for transfer.
Well, haven't Everton just let Barry leave? Just saying! What did we pay for him and any idea on what he is now worth?
Signed him for £8m. Shame that it hasn't worked out. I like him as a player but obviously just hasn't happened here. All the best to him.
It seemed he hardly ever lasted 90 minutes; 60-70 seemed to be about his limit. The game often seemed to pass him by. Not a bad player at all; but felt from the outset he seemed somehow out of his depth: never quite sure why. Some will write that he did alot if his work quietly and without being noticed. I do not buy into that view; for me, he did not make a sufficient enough contribution - but wish him well.
Everton would potentially pay that much for a player Koeman likes that they don't actually need. However they might just have a few too many players in that position even for Koeman
