    Bit unlucky today weren't they?

Last season's European games suggest it's going to be hard for them, but I certainly wouldn't judge by today's result.

League games at Wembley still doesn't sit right by me.

They will get used to it I imagine after a while, but their home record won't be anywhere near as good as it was last year.

Might stand them in good stead if they reach a cup final/semi there though.

They were unbeaten at home last season. This time that record has gone in their first home game.
    Doesn't bode well :)

They should have shared the Emirates instead with their friendly neighbours.

Wembley is our national stadium ffs, not some charity case.

Gonna happen again with Chelsea too, won't they have it for like 2/3 seasons though?

They should have ground shared with Enfield Town

The only way they'd be welcome at the emirates is to clean out the bogs.

Btw, Wembley belongs to Wenger. Record holder for the most FA cup wins

It was, during the second world war.
And only because the Govt requistioned Higbury for the war effort as an Air raid protection centre to alert Londoners from incoming bomb attacks.

Only somebody with no class would try and score points over that.

Presumably this is because, even back then, bombing Tottenham would have been doing the area a favour, so the War Office assumed that the Luftwaffe would leave it alone?

Spuds shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near Wembley. The national stadium is for winners, not a club who hasn't won a major honour for 26 years. Hopefully Spurs' Wembley hoodoo is a curse for them for sullying the good name of our national stadium.

Wembley is a stadium for big clubs and the Spuds are not one, so they suffer.

The demographic of the population trending towards Jewish would surley have made it a target?

I actually thought that Spurs would tonk Chelsea yesterday.

I thought that all of the "Wembley Hoodoo" stuff would be put to bed and that Kane would get his August goal and what not.

****ers. Filled my fantasy side with Spurs players, Kane was my captain and I had a Huddersfield and Spurs double that would have returned 120 quid.
