Great video but not the original as claimed. How did that last goal happen? It beat all 3 of our CBs?

I don't remember the actual official original. More like the poster of the video is trying to suggest that the post in question was someone else's original creation - most likely his/hers !
Haven't watched the video of City's game yet, so can't comment - just heard the audio commentary.

It's not the sale alone, it's that this and all other sales have generated, year to date, around 65m (when Clucas goes through) with only around 12m reinvested, and the longer it goes on, the more it becomes obvious that our salable assets are being shipped out and replaced with freebies, loans and cheap options, and that is not a good ****ing model for succes and that's why people are so pissed off

Personally if we got £15M for him then I would agree, in todays market IMO that is what he is worth. If we sell at £12M I think he is going cheap. I would prefer Clucas to stay, but can't begrudge him the chance of getting EPL football.

What really pisses me off is Ehab fannying around when buying players, even Slutsky is saying he cannot understand why it takes so long. Moreover he just is not reinvesting a reasonable amount in the team, I would not expect him to invest all the funds generated, but at least give Slutsky a fighting chance.

All of what you are saying is logical & maybe true. However, if there really is a potential buyer out there, it is also possible they are getting our current owners to prune the assets (players & salaries), which would reduce the price they may have to pay - the Allams would pocket the transfer fees, the salary budget would obviously be lower to the buyers. This may make sense if the prospective new owners want to start with a clean slate for a new manager etc to allow them total control in building a team to dove-tail with their own & his own philosophies. It's risky for both parties (Allams & prospective buyers) as offloading our major playing assets ( which we obviously have almost completely done) could see us plummet lower down the league table.

No, it was a fair value as he wanted to go and we can't complain. Done business, move on.

Seemingly every time Ehab comes under a bit of scrutiny the mystery buyer angle comes out...wishful thinking by someone trying to make some sort of sense of this shambles, or a leak from the club to deflect anger?
Whatever, the Allams have created and then needlessly frittered away the best opportunity Hull City have ever had to establish themselves as a top flight club.

Good point not everything was rosy in the 'good old days'. Doesn't detract from the current incumbents being a pair of twats though and none of us should be comparing who was the worst owners. There is absolutely nothing wrong with supporters expecting to be treated respectfully.

I don't disagree with you Chazz. We've had a lot of unscrupulous owners. It's more about how these pair of ****s have made me feel as a City fan. I love City but these 2 are doing everything they can to break the bond between fan and club. No other owners, even Lloyd, Hinchcliffe and the rest were as vicious and nasty as the Allam's towards the fans. Their contempt for fans is beyond belief. The other asset strippers were just businessmen helping themselves. Not great I admit but these 2 tossers have managed to make it feel personal. All I want is for them to take their ****ing money back and **** off.

    Ok
Not sure what relevance you mentioning about people wanting to be entertained by Bruce was then?
Anyway I don't see anyone hankering for those days. Yes people do look back fondly on them (and yes I was there, and actually I suspect most regular posters that criticise the Allams on here were too) but I can't say I've seen anyone wanting to go back to those circumstances at all
What I see is people who think that they deserve to be treated with at least a little respect, and desperately want the owners to stop acting in a petty way about a number of things, not least the club's name and concessions
I also see a very small number of people who are desperate to defend the Allams whatever they do (a very small amount and not the people on here who often get accused of it actually)
I don't buy the 'be careful what you wish for' argument myself because I'm certain that I'll disagree with some things any new owners want to do as well, I'm naturally suspicious of anyone who wants to run a football club because I think it's a stupid idea.
The point though is that the situation has become so toxic that unless they change their position on things, which I think they are incapable of, I want them to go before it's too late to allow whatever new person to have a decent crack at it. Hopefully they'll be ok, but if not I struggle to see how they could make things worse and I'm prepared to take that, in my view minuscule, chance

Yes I can see the sense in that if we knew the money would be invested to bring more good signings but we know that is not the case and that is what is pissing everyone off.
