I think we're going to be nearer relegation. Clucas gone/going has really ****ed me off. So much for a solid spine.
Do you really expect that any club in the champ would turn down that money for a player like clucus? If we take the hull city glasses and the fact that 99.9% of the time our owners are Twats..... The deal is just to good to turn down for a player who cost us 1m(ish)
It's ironic really as slutsky wanted to build the spine of the team with a core of English players, meanwhile ehab sells another
Ffs why wont you listen....we are not pissed off about selling our top players...especially at really good prices....but it's only good business for the club as a whole if at least some of the money is reinvested...at the minute only the 2 sniper targets are raking it in.
I have no idea what he is trying to do. My point is many posters and not only on here have been hankering after the 'good old days' at Boothferry Park when we had nowt and expected nowt. My point is be careful what you wish for. They were nothing special and I doubt if many of those hankering for a return were not there in the first place.
It's good business full stop.... Just because it's not good for us fans then we will whinge, reinvested or not (which I don't think it will be BTW) anyone in any situation would be daft to turn this deal down
If we turn it down we will have a sulking player on our hands. The club slapped a high ticket price on his head to deter bidders but they have took the bait. I'd be more pissed off if he was going to be sold for a couple of bob more then we paid for him just to save on wages.
We cannot not sell him for the money mentioned, but it needs to be reinvested. We desperately need another 8/9 players if we dont get some reinforcements we will be on our way to league 1 Surely wages are not a problem any more, we cant be paying a lot to our 5 a side team. When Clucas goes i for one wish him well he is best away from us.
Don't think we are really calling for a return of "the good old days". More a case of the older fans remembering what it can be like to have owners that cared about the fans and anything we've suffered in the past was better than it is now with those 2 knob-heads running the club. I really really am starting to despise them now
Did Adam care about the fans when he fiddled it so Bartlett could buy the club by getting a mortgage on the smc/ground and bribed(allegedly) one of the council to push it through? So him and his mate could get their money and **** off. We were debt free before then.
